Rachel E. White, OD
Dr. White joined Medicus Eye Group in February 2024. She was born and raised in the small town of Independence, Kansas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Life Science with a Biology minor from Kansas State University. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) at Salus University.
Dr. White is a board-certified optometrist who completed rotations at multiple private practices focusing on primary care and traumatic brain injuries, the W.G. (Bill) Hefner Salisbury VA Medical Center with six months of experience in ocular disease, and The Eye Institute at PCO, specializing in pediatrics.
She is an active member of the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association, the Piedmont Optometric Society, and the American Optometric Association.
In her free time, Dr. White enjoys attending sporting events with her boyfriend, Chase, spending time with family back in the sunflower state, traveling and loving on her Ragdoll cat, Keowee.
