Dr. Lomax joined Medicus Eye Group in August 2017. She was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from East Tennessee State University. Dr. Lomax then went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. After school, she moved to Columbia, South Carolina for her residency at WJB Dorn VA Medical Center. In the Fall of 2020, Dr. Lomax completed her fellowship and was inducted as a fellow into the American Academy of Optometry. She is an active member of the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association and is the past president of the Piedmont Optometric Society. Dr. Lomax and her husband, Jack, enjoy traveling, boating, water sports, and spending time outdoors.
